Why are your rates so low? What’s the catch?
There is no catch, we just have a simpler, better way for customers to get a home loan.
Our Tiimely Home application is different to traditional applications. It’s not a manual form that you fill out digitally, but a live application that assesses your information and eligibility in real time.
It’s because of this efficiency in our process that we’re able to offer some of the best interest rates in the market.
Are you a bank?
No, we’re not a bank.
Tiimely is a platform technology company with an Australian Credit Licence (ACL) and Tiimely Home is our retail business.
We have our own no-frills home loan product, Tiimely Own, that we offer direct to customers. It benefits from our proprietary technology that creates efficiencies in the lending process, which means we can keep our costs low and pass these savings onto customers.
Tiimely Own home loans are funded by Bendigo and Adelaide Bank plus we also have a team of expert in-house brokers who can help you find a loan with one of our partner lenders if our Tiimely Own home loan isn’t right for you.
Can you get pre-approved for a home loan online?
Tiimely Own pre-approval is different to standard ‘pre-approval’. It assesses everything we can without knowing the final property you’ll be purchasing. Learn more about our pre-approval.
Is entering my online banking details safe?
We believe digitally validating your financials is far safer than sending financial statements via email.
When you enter your online banking details, no human will ever see your credentials. We don’t keep your password. It’s encrypted and de-identified all the way back through the hardware.
Your data is secured by our world-leading encrypted technology partner, Envestnet Yodlee (Yodlee). We chose them because of their superior reputation, having been at the forefront of financial technology security for over 20 years.
We understand it sounds strange to ask for your bank login details, but nobody (not even Yodlee) will see them. As soon as your details have been entered and validated in the approval stage of your home loan application, they are encrypted, separated, and securely stored. And once your financial validation has been completed, they are completely erased.
What if I don't want to enter my bank details?
There is a manual way, however it will slow down the process.
Simply upload copies of your transaction statements and any other documents we need to verify your financial position. This option means a Tiimely Home team member will be required to review them, so your application will take a little longer to assess.

Am I eligible to apply for a Tiimely Own home loan?
You can easily find out by checking against our eligibility criteria. These consider a range of factors including:
- Property: value, location, and type
- Your contributions (deposit or equity amount)
- Employment: current and previous history, and type
- Identity: forms of government ID, and citizenship
What does it mean to be bank backed?
Is Tiimely Home a bank?
No, we’re not a bank. But we’re backed by a trusted bank.
So what does that mean?
Tiimely Home has the backing of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank; they fund our home loans, provide our offset facility and importantly, giving our customers the protections a bank has in the unlikely event of a finance crisis. Read our guide on the Financial Claims Scheme (FCS) and why it's important that our offset facility is covered under the FCS for up to $250,000.
Our agreement with them to fund our Tiimely Own home loans means that when you get a Tiimely Own home loan, any funds we loan you come from Bendigo and Adelaide Bank .
Our proprietary tech that powers our application process, is so efficient at assessing customers for a home loan, that it means we can offer customers bank-grade products but with low rates and no hidden fees.

To be eligible for the cashback offer, you’ll need to meet the following terms and conditions:
- You apply for a new 2 yr Fixed Tiimely Own home loan between 18 June 2025 and 31 August 2025
- Applications for a Tiimely Own loan are subject to credit criteria and terms and conditions, fees and charges, and other eligibility criteria apply
- You must settle your home loan by 30 September 2025
- The loan amount you’re applying for must be $500,000 or greater

Can I get the cashback if I’m refinancing an existing Tiimely Own home loan?
The cashback does not apply for refinancing an existing Tiimely Own home loan.
Can I get the cashback if I’m purchasing a new home?

To be eligible for the cashback you need to have submitted your application by 31 August 2025 and settle prior to 30 September 2025. If you begin a new loan application outside of the promotion period, you will not be eligible for the cashback.
If I have multiple home loans will I get the cashback for all of them?
If you have applied for multiple 2 yr fixed home loans during the promotional period and they all settle by 30 September 2025 then you will be eligible for a cashback on each loan.
When do I have to apply to get the cashback?
The promotion period starts on 18 June 2025 and ends on 31 August 2025 and your loan must settle by 30th September. (offer subject to termination or change without prior notice).

When will I get the cash?
You’ll receive the $2,000 cashback within 45 days of settlement.
How long is the offer going for?

How many times can I get the cashback offer?
You can receive the cashback for each eligible loan application within the promotional period.
How long do I have to stay with Tiimely Home?
As it is a 2 year fixed loan the minimum is 2 years. If you choose to refinance or pay out your loan before the expiry of the 2 year period you will be charged break costs and discharge fees.
